More than 50 villages cut off in Russia’s Dagestan after heavy rains
10 July 2026 19:18
More than 50 villages in Russia's Dagestan region have been cut off from the outside world following heavy rainfall, according to the republic's Ministry of Transport and Road Infrastructure.
The ministry said as of 11:00 Moscow time on July 10, transport links with 56 settlements in eight districts have been temporarily disrupted, Caliber.Az reports.
The most difficult situation remains in the Charodinsky district, where transport access to 18 villages was severed after a landslide forced the closure of a section of the Tsurib–Archib road.
