Moscow accuses London and Paris of direct responsibility for attacks on Russia

Britain and France bear direct responsibility for participating in attacks carried out by Kyiv on Russian territory, Maria Zakharova, director of the Russian Foreign Ministry’s Department of Information and Press, said at a briefing.

Zakharova accused London and Paris of attempting to distance themselves from responsibility for strikes deep inside Russia by transferring what she described as “assembly functions” to Ukraine.

“It is obvious that, by making decisions to transfer the so-called assembly functions to Ukrainians, London and Paris are frantically trying to evade responsibility for strikes deep inside our country,” the diplomat said.

“It will not work. You in Paris, London, Berlin and other capitals bear direct responsibility for involvement in terrorist attacks.”
