Moscow deems unacceptable Armenia's plans to join Rome Statute of ICC
Caliber.Az had already reported on the Kremlin's outrage at Armenia's accession to the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court (ICC) immediately after it issued an arrest warrant for Russian President Vladimir Putin. However, while at that time there were blasts about the Kremlin's discontent from Telegram channels close to the Russian authorities, now that discontent has escalated to the official level.
The Russian Foreign Ministry has stated that it considers unacceptable Yerevan's plans to join the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court (ICC) amidst legally null and void "warrants" against the Russian leadership.
The Armenian side has been warned of the "extremely negative" consequences of Yerevan's possible steps for bilateral relations, TASS reports, citing the ministry.
