Moscow questions US messaging on Iran situation
Mikhail Ulyanov, Russia’s Permanent Representative to international organisations in Vienna, said Moscow is receiving “highly contradictory reports” regarding the situation involving Iran.
According to Caliber.Az, Ulyanov made the remarks in a post on the social media platform X, where he compared assessments coming from Iran and the United States.
We get very controversial messages. It looks like the Iranian assessments are closer to actual states of affairs. The messages from the the US are less responsible at this point. https://t.co/KrpUT3Vd7Q

"We get very controversial messages. It looks like the Iranian assessments are closer to the actual states of affairs. The messages from the US are less responsible at this point," the post reads.
Ulyanov was responding to comments made by a spokesperson for Iran’s Foreign Ministry, who stated that peace negotiations with the United States are not “close” and that it remains unclear whether a deal could be reached “over weeks or months.”
