Musk refers to his children as "legion" in effort to address population crisis
Elon Musk, the entrepreneur overseeing the work of the US Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), has referred to his children as a "legion", drawing a comparison to the military units of the Roman Republic and Empire.
Musk’s use of the term reflects his vision of creating a group of individuals with exceptional intelligence to help address what he sees as a looming threat to civilisation - population decline, Caliber.Az reports per foreign media.
Thus, Musk is aiming to cultivate a “legion” of highly intelligent people, believing that the decline in global population poses serious risks to humanity's future. Musk’s desire to tackle these challenges through expanding his family aligns with his broader views on fostering intellectual capital in the face of potential societal threats. Musk has at least 14 children with four different women. However, some sources suggest that the number of Musk’s children may be even higher than reported.
