NATO Secretary General urges to prepare for worsening conflict in Ukraine

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg commented on the current situation in Ukraine.

“We need to prepare for bad news. Conflicts develop in stages. But we must support Ukraine in both bad and good times,” he urged in an interview with the German TV channel Das Erste.

Stoltenberg admitted that NATO countries did not satisfy Kyiv's increased demand for ammunition. In his opinion, Ukraine is in a critical situation.

After a journalist’s question about the actions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in such a situation, the head of the North Atlantic Alliance addressed “the adoption of these complex operational decisions to the Ukrainians and their military leadership.”
