New British Ambassador praises mine clearing efforts in Karabakh

The Chairman of the Mine Action Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ANAMA), Vugar Suleymanov, has organized a welcome meeting for the newly appointed Ambassador of the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland to Baku, OBE Fergus Auld.

As APA reported, the Ambassador has expressed his high regard for the demining activities conducted in the liberated areas of Karabakh by ANAMA.

In the course of the meeting, the sides exchanged their views on the continuation of efforts in the sphere of fighting against landmine threats and the expansion of their partnership in regard to ensuring livable and safe conditions in the liberated territories.
