Russian air defence forces shot down five more drones heading toward Moscow, bringing the total number of unmanned aerial vehicles intercepted overnight on May 7 to eight, Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin said.
Emergency services are currently working at the sites where drone debris fell, Caliber.Az reports per Russian media.
Flight restrictions have been introduced at two Moscow airports — Sheremetyevo International Airport and Vnukovo International Airport. At least 20 outbound flights have been delayed at Vnukovo alone. In total, restrictions are now in effect at more than 15 airports across Russia.
