Number of railcars transported through Azerbaijan’s Port of Baku increases by 26%

The number of railcars transported through Azerbaijan’s Baku International Sea Trade Port increased by 25.8 per cent in the first half of this year compared to the same period of last year and reached 18,376.

The cargo is transported through the Bere ferry terminal with an annual throughput of 6.2 million tons, Report informs referring to the Baku International Sea Trade Port.

Railcars can be transferred from a train to a ship through this terminal without using unloading equipment.
