Official: Türkiye aims to elevate Africa ties with groundbreaking media forum Photo
Türkiye is focused on further expanding its cooperation with African countries, said country's Communications Director Fahrettin Altun.
Speaking at the opening of the Türkiye-Africa Media Forum in Istanbul, Altun expressed optimism about the forum's potential to elevate existing partnerships, Caliber.Az reports, citing Turkish media.
"We believe this forum will take our close cooperation to an even higher level," Altun stated.
He also highlighted that discussions would cover the current state of relations between Türkiye and African nations, as well as steps to enhance these connections.
Altun emphasized Türkiye's commitment to viewing Africa not through its negative aspects but through its true potential and dynamic growth. "We aim to look at Africa not through its negative aspects but through its real potential and dynamism," he added.
The forum will feature panel discussions on topics including "Strengthening the Media and Communication Ecosystem in Türkiye-Africa Relations," "Public Diplomacy and Strategic Communications: Exploring Cooperation Opportunities within a Shared Vision," and "Reliable Information Flow and Strategies Against Disinformation in the Media within Türkiye-Africa Relations."
