Drone attack on Russia's Tatarstan death toll rises to 13 VIDEO/UPDATED
The number of people injured in a drone attack on Nizhnekamsk has risen to 75, including 21 who have been hospitalised, according to the press office of the head of Russia's Republic of Tatarstan.
The death toll has also increased to 13. Among those killed were citizens of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan, the press office said, ASTRA reports.
A girl was also among the victims and died before medical personnel could reach her, according to the statement.

Ukraine’s General Staff said its forces had hit the TANECO oil refinery in Russia’s Republic of Tatarstan as part of a series of strikes on Russian military and energy infrastructure.
In a statement, the General Staff said Ukrainian forces had also struck a repair facility in Khrustalny in Luhansk region, a logistics depot in Novoselidivka in Donetsk region and a field artillery depot in Boevoye, also in Donetsk region.
The General Staff also provided an update on earlier strikes, saying the AVT-6 primary oil-refining column at the Ilsky Oil Refinery had been damaged.
At the Gvardeyskoye airfield in Crimea, Ukrainian forces destroyed nine aviation fuel tanks and damaged two aircraft hangars, according to the statement.

Russia's Republic of Tatarstan came under a large-scale drone attack on the morning of August 10, with fatalities reported in the city of Nizhnekamsk, according to the city’s mayor, Radmir Belyaev.
Belyaev said the drones targeted both industrial and civilian facilities in the region. Emergency services are responding to the aftermath of the strikes, while authorities assess the extent of the damage.
Following the loss of life, a period of mourning has been declared across Tatarstan. The decision was announced by the head of the republic, Rustam Minnikhanov.

An oil refinery in Nizhnekamsk, in Russia’s Republic of Tatarstan, was reportedly hit in a drone attack on the morning of August 10, according to OSINT sources and local social media reports.
Residents reported hearing explosions and seeing drones flying over the city. Footage of the incident subsequently appeared on social media, while Ukrainian media reports indicated that the attack targeted an oil refinery.
Nizhnekamsk is one of Russia’s major oil-refining centres and is home to two large refineries, TANECO and TAIF-NK, which process crude oil and gas condensate.
The facilities are key components of Russia’s fuel and energy infrastructure and have previously been targeted in drone attacks. Other industrial facilities in Nizhnekamsk have also come under attack in previous incidents.
