One dead, three injured in Moscow construction site fire
A fire at a multi-storey building under construction in northern Moscow left one person dead and three others injured, while several people were reported trapped inside the structure, according to emergency services.
The incident occurred at a building site on 2nd Ambulny Passage, where the structure was engulfed in flames, TASS reported, citing operational services.
Authorities said an unspecified number of people were initially trapped inside the burning building, with some located on the third floor as rescue efforts continued.
Emergency responders carried out evacuation operations, successfully rescuing 15 people from the site. Among them, three sustained injuries, while one person died as a result of the fire.
Officials said that all necessary measures were being taken to locate and assist those still inside, as emergency crews continued their response at the scene.
