One injured in Ukrainian drone attack on Russia’s Volgograd region
Ukrainian Armed Forces launched a drone attack in Russia’s Volgograd region, injuring one person, Governor Andrei Bocharov has said.
In a statement on Telegram, he noted that Russian air defence units were engaged in repelling the strike, which targeted civilian infrastructure, Caliber.Az reports.
Bocharov called the attack “on civilian infrastructure facilities in the Alekseyevsky and Olkhovsky districts of the Volgograd region” a terrorist activity “by the criminal Kyiv regime.”
He stressed that a private residential property was damaged as a result of the attack, and a resident was hospitalised with a shrapnel wound to the leg.
“According to preliminary data, no other damage, casualties, or fires have been recorded,” the statement added.
