Russian online retailer Ozon said its logistics facilities in Orenburg and Ufa were targeted overnight.

The company said all employees were evacuated promptly and that, according to preliminary information, there were no casualties and no fires.

The Orenburg facility has already resumed operations, although acceptance of FBS shipments will be restricted for one day. Sellers were advised to dispatch shipments through pickup points or distribution points, or to wait until the following day.

Ozon said the logistics complex in Ufa sustained minor damage and remained temporarily closed while the site undergoes a thorough inspection. The facility is not currently accepting deliveries from sellers, while shipments already in transit will be redirected to other logistics centres. Customers can continue placing orders as usual.

The company did not identify those responsible for the attacks. The incidents come amid a broader series of drone attacks on Ozon logistics facilities across Russia in recent days.

The Ufa airport was also temporarily closed, according to separate reports.

A fire broke out at an Ozon warehouse in the city of Blagoveshchensk in Russia’s Bashkortostan region following what Exilenova+ described as reported strikes, the outlet said on Thursday, August 27.

The report did not provide further details about the incident, including the extent of the damage or whether there were any casualties.

Explosions were also reported in the city of Sterlitamak, according to local residents. However, there were no confirmed reports at the time of publication that the city had been struck.
