Pakistani delegation visits National Defence University in Azerbaijan

A delegation consisting of high-ranking civil servants of the Pakistani government, who are studying at the National Institute of Management of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, is on a visit to Azerbaijan.

The delegation visited the National Defence University in Baku on August 19, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Azerbaijani Defence Ministry.

While welcoming the guests, the rector of the National Defence University, Professor, Lieutenant-General Heydar Piriyev expressed gratification with the delegation’s visit.

The views on the current state and prospects of bilateral cooperation in military education, as well as on other issues of mutual interest were exchanged at the meeting.

The delegation was informed about the National Defence University and the second Karabakh war.

Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the Republic of Azerbaijan Bilal Hayee also attended the meeting.
