U.S. President Donald Trump has shared a post featuring Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev’s speech at the 3rd Shusha Global Media Forum.

The American leader posted the content on his official Truth Social account, Caliber.Az reports.

The video shared by Trump includes a segment of Ilham Aliyev’s speech in which he speaks about Donald Trump.

The 3rd Shusha Global Media Forum was held from July 19 to 21, 2025, in the city of Shusha, Azerbaijan, under the theme “Digital Pathways: Strengthening Information and Media Resilience in the Age of AI.” The event brought together around 255 participants, including 140 international delegates from over 50 countries, as well as representatives from major media outlets and international organisations.

The forum focused on key issues such as media literacy, digital security, the impact of artificial intelligence on journalism, and the fight against disinformation. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev addressed the opening session, highlighting Shusha’s role as a cultural centre and a platform for global dialogue. The event also featured cultural visits to recently reconstructed regions, underscoring Azerbaijan’s post-conflict development efforts.
