Azerbaijan, Pakistan discuss strengthening strategic partnership in phone talks
On July 18, Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov held a phone conversation with Muhammad Ishaq Dar, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
The discussion focused on deepening the existing strategic partnership between the two nations, Caliber.Az reports via the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry.
During the call, both ministers reviewed opportunities to expand bilateral and multilateral cooperation across political, economic, security, and humanitarian spheres. They emphasised the importance of leveraging current frameworks to further enhance collaboration based on mutual solidarity, friendship, and brotherhood.
Regional and international security issues of shared concern were also discussed, alongside cooperation within global organisations such as the United Nations and the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation.
The exchange highlighted the commitment of both countries to strengthen their ties and explore new avenues for partnership on regional and international platforms.
