Pakistani general exposes India's attacks on mosques, civilians in shocking revelations
General Ahmad Sharif, Director General of the Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR), reported that the Indian army has been deliberately targeting civilian populations, in what he described as indiscriminate shelling.
As detailed by Daily Pakistan, General Sharif described several specific incidents of these attacks, per Caliber.Az.
One of the most tragic occurred in Ahmadpur East, where the Subhan Allah mosque was struck, resulting in the deaths of 13 people, including two- and three-year-old girls, seven women, and four men. In addition, 37 individuals were injured, with 28 men and nine women among the victims.
The attacks did not stop there. In Muzaffarabad, the Bilal mosque came under fire, leaving three people dead and a girl and boy injured. In Kotli, the Abbas mosque was hit, resulting in the deaths of a 16-year-old girl and an 18-year-old young man, while a mother and daughter were wounded in the attack.
In the city of Muridke, another mosque was shelled, causing three deaths and one injury. In Sialkot, although the area came under fire, there were no casualties or material damage. Similarly, in Shakargarh, no fatalities were reported, but a medical vehicle was damaged during the shelling.
General Sharif also pointed out that India has continued its erratic shelling along the Line of Control, including artillery strikes, which have caused significant distress among civilians in these areas.
He emphasised that most of the locations struck had been visited by local and international journalists the day before the attacks, providing confirmation that there were no militant camps present in these areas, as India had suggested. Instead, these areas were home to peaceful civilians only.
