Pashinyan introduces new Armenian security council chief

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has introduced Alen Simonyan as the new head of the country’s Security Council, following the resignation of longtime secretary Armen Grigoryan.

Pashinyan shared a video of the meeting on his Telegram channel, saying he had thanked Grigoryan for his service and work during his eight years in the position, Caliber.Az reports.

Earlier, Grigoryan resigned from his position at the Prime Minister’s Office, ending an eight-year tenure as secretary of the Security Council.
