Pashinyan says Armenia-Russia ties remain based on mutual respect
07 June 2026 10:33
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has said that relations between Armenia and Russia remain institutionalised and grounded in mutual respect, despite periodic tensions between the two countries.
Speaking about bilateral ties, Pashinyan stressed that the foundation of Armenia-Russia relations remains intact and is supported by established interstate mechanisms, Caliber.Az reports via Armenian media.
The Armenian premier also described the tensions that occasionally emerge in relations between Yerevan and Moscow as "artificial" in nature, suggesting they do not reflect the broader framework of cooperation between the two countries.
