PM Mishustin highlights Kazakhstan’s role as Russia’s trusted ally
Kazakhstan is a strategic partner and ally of Russia, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said during talks with his Kazakh counterpart, Olzhas Bektenov.
Mishustin emphasised that the bilateral relationship has been tested over time and is founded on friendship, good-neighbourliness, and mutual respect, Caliber.Az reports via Russian media.
He added that the Russian and Kazakh governments will ensure the precise implementation of decisions made by the countries' leaders, Vladimir Putin and Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, regarding the development of multifaceted cooperation between Moscow and Astana.
“Following the state visit of the President of Kazakhstan to Russia last November, an important agreement was reached on developing our multifaceted cooperation.
A comprehensive economic cooperation program through 2030 has been approved, and the governments of Russia and Kazakhstan will ensure clear and prompt implementation of the decisions made by our leaders,” Russian PM emphasised.
