PM Pashinyan, European official discuss activities of EU mission in Armenia
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has received Stefano Tomat, commander of civilian operations of the European External Action Service, said the press service of the Armenian Cabinet of Ministers, Caliber.Az reports citing Armenian media.
"The Prime Minister welcomed Tomat's visit to Armenia and highlighted the activities of the EU civilian mission on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border. Nikol Pashinyan noted that the effective activity of the mission contributes to peace and stability in the region.
Prime Minister Pashinyan and Stefano Tomat touched upon the results of the EU observer mission and issues related to its further activity.
The sides stressed the importance of continuous development of Armenia-EU multidisciplinary cooperation," the report says.
Armenian experts stated that the observers in Armenia, who are representatives of NATO countries, particularly Germany and France, are intelligence agents. And their main mission is to collect information about the Russian military presence in Armenia and to spy on Iran.
