Political analyst: Armenia has no opposition
Armenian political analyst Vigen Hakobyan has said that there is no opposition in Armenia.
“We prove that there is no opposition in Armenia. Opposition parties exist only in their offices, where the opposition party members conduct discussions, conduct various analyses and make statements, blame people, the government, etc.,” Hakobyan said during a conversation with Armenian political analyst Stepan Danielyan, Caliber.Az reports.
He noted that some opposition parties are passive because of the problem in 2018 while others - because of the failure of the “Resistance Movement” in 2021.
“The passivity of various opposition parties is connected with problems and expectations. Proceeding from uncertainty in their own strength and resources, as well as the lack of expectations from people, they hope that maybe some interested forces from outside would be able to discuss topics where they would fit in with their agendas,” he added.
