Presidents of Azerbaijan, UAE reaffirm close partnership, mutual support

On May 30, Ilham Aliyev, President of Azerbaijan, held a telephone conversation with Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, to discuss the growing bilateral ties between the two countries.

During the call, both leaders praised the ongoing development of bilateral relations, notably highlighting the high-level reciprocal visits and the strengthening of economic and trade cooperation between the two countries, Caliber.Az reports via local media.

President Aliyev referenced the reception of a delegation of business representatives from the United Arab Emirates the previous day, noting the productive discussions that took place during the meeting.

The presidents also commended the close cooperation and continuous mutual support between Azerbaijan and the UAE within various international organizations. Furthermore, they exchanged views on the prospects for relations and forthcoming engagements.
