Prosecutors from Turkic states meet in Azerbaijani capital
On August 8, the Azerbaijani Prosecutor General's Office hosted an international seminar on "International cooperation of prosecutor's offices, legal assistance in criminal cases: the current situation and challenges".
The seminar is held within the framework of the Council of Prosecutors General of the Organization of the Turkic States, which was established in Baku on November 1, 2021, Report informs.
The seminar was attended by delegations of the Prosecutor General's Offices of Türkiye, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, as well as the Deputy Secretary-General of the Organisation of the Turkic States, the press service of the Azerbaijani Prosecutor-General's Office states.
Azerbaijani Prosecutor-General Kamran Aliyev, who welcomed the guests, drew attention to the importance of expanding mutual and effective cooperation between law enforcement agencies of the Turkic world, covering large geography.
Then the seminar continued with presentations and speeches by prosecutors, and a fruitful exchange of views took place.
