Azerbaijani MPs join NATO Parliamentary Assembly in US to tackle security challenges
Azerbaijani MPs will attend the NATO Parliamentary Assembly session in Dayton, US, from May 21 to 29, where key issues such as election cybersecurity, transatlantic cooperation, and global security threats will be discussed.
The Azerbaijani delegation will be headed by Ramiz Namazov, the head of the delegation to the NATO PA, and Tahir Mirkishili, a member of the delegation, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
The Azerbaijani delegation's visit will conclude on May 29, with various discussions and meetings expected throughout the week.
Dayton, Ohio, has been selected to host the Spring 2025 NATO Parliamentary Assembly. The region is home to Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, where the Dayton Accords, ending the Bosnian War, were signed in 1995. Dayton is also the birthplace of aviation and a national hub in aerospace technology.
