Azerbaijan, UAE foreign ministers discuss strategic ties in phone call

Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jeyhun Bayramov, held a telephone conversation on May 21 with his counterpart from the United Arab Emirates, Minister Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to discuss the current state and prospects of bilateral relations between the two countries.

During the call, the sides discussed the progress made within the framework of the strategic partnership between the two countries, issues of bilateral cooperation as well as collaboration within international organisations, and the regional and global security situation, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry.

The ministers also exchanged views on other areas of cooperation.
