Putin acknowledges challenges facing Russia’s fuel market
Russian President Vladimir Putin acknowledged ongoing challenges in Russia’s fuel market, while assuring that the situation is being addressed and remains under the supervision of the country’s prime minister.
“Just the day before yesterday, we met and discussed this issue with the prime minister. Yes, not all issues have been resolved yet, but they are being addressed. The prime minister is keeping these matters under control. A special commission has been established,” he said in an interview with Pavel Zarubin for Vesti, according to Russian media.
Putin acknowledged that the situation in the fuel market is causing some inconvenience for citizens.
“Yes, of course, there are certain inconveniences for people, but the government, of course, must keep this under control,” the president noted.
