Putin holds Security Council meeting on threats to public safety VIDEO

Russian President Vladimir Putin held an operational meeting with members of the country’s Security Council via videoconference to discuss additional measures aimed at neutralising threats to public security.

Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev presented a report during the meeting, according to the Kremlin.

The talks were attended by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, Federation Council Chairwoman Valentina Matviyenko, State Duma Chairman Vyacheslav Volodin, Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev, Presidential Administration Head Anton Vaino and Security Council Secretary Sergei Shoigu.

Presidential Aide Nikolai Patrushev, Defense Minister Andrei Belousov, Federal Security Service Director Alexander Bortnikov and Foreign Intelligence Service Director Sergei Naryshkin also took part in the meeting.
