Putin, Pashinyan discuss situation on Armenia-Azerbaijan border
Russian Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan at the initiative of the Armenian side.
During the conversation on February 23, the Armenian leader informed the president of Russia about his meeting with the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev in Munich on February 18, as well as his conversations with other foreign leaders, the Kremlin's press service informs.
The two leaders discussed the practical implementation of the package of trilateral agreements between the leaders of Russia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan in order to ensure stability and security in the region.
The current situation on the Armenia-Azerbaijan border was also touched on.
Contacts on this matter will be continued at various levels, the sides agreed.
