Putin: Russia has gained more room for maneuver

Pressure on Russia continues, but the country has gained more room for maneuver, Russian President Vladimir Putin said during the plenary session of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).

He noted that Russia views the emerging global challenges “not only as threats, but also as enormous opportunities”, Caliber.Az reports, citing Russian media.

He stressed that it is important for Russia to act quickly and pragmatically.

The Russian leader further emphasised that Russia remains open to those interested in equal and mutually beneficial cooperation.
