Putin says queues at polling stations show Russia cannot be intimidated

Russian President Vladimir Putin has said the adversary attempted to disrupt the latest elections in the country, but queues at polling stations showed that “Russia cannot be intimidated”.

Speaking at a meeting with members of the government, he thanked citizens for their active participation in the election campaign, Caliber.Az reports, citing Russian media.

During the meeting, Putin addressed the conflict with Ukraine, noting that all the objectives of this “special military operation” would be achieved.

In his words, the authorities must do everything necessary to justify the trust placed in them by citizens.

According to the Russian president, record voter turnout in the elections demonstrates public support for the authorities’ efforts to strengthen the country.
