Putin says Russia awaits US delegation for talks

Russian President Vladimir Putin said Moscow is expecting a visit from a US delegation once developments surrounding the recent conflict involving Iran have stabilised.

In an interview with the Vesti news agency, Putin said Russia was prepared to resume discussions with the United States after what he described as the end of the "hot phase" of the Iranian situation.

"We are ready to continue negotiations and discussions on all the details and all the modalities—if not agreements, then at least the topics under discussion," Putin said.
