Qatar airspace shuts down again until March 10

Qatar’s airspace, which had previously been partially opened for a few hours, is now closed again until the morning of March 10, a source at the Doha Flight Information Region control centre told TASS.

“The country’s airspace is closed until 03:59 UTC (07:59 Baku time) on Tuesday, March 10,” the source said. 

During the closure, aviation authorities will allow flights for government and medical purposes, as well as search and rescue operations, but only with prior authorisation.
