Founder of Krec dies after road accident, wife confirms

Rapper Artem Brovkov, founder of the group Krec, has died following a road accident, according to Russian media reports cited by Caliber.Az.

The news was confirmed on Thursday, April 2, by his wife, Valentina Berezkina, in a social media post.

“It is very hard for me to write this, but Artyom is no longer with us. A few hours ago, he was involved in a terrible accident, doctors did everything they could, but they could not save him. I ask you to remember and respect everything he did for the world in every sense of the word. I love him very much and do not know other people as kind and honest,” she wrote.

Brovkov was the founder and a long-time member of the hip-hop group Krec and the author of most of its songs. In 2022, he left Russia and continued his music career abroad.
