Rosatom chief says IAEA head interested in visiting Russia

A potential visit to Russia by International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Director General Rafael Grossi remains under consideration, Rosatom chief Alexei Likhachev said on Saturday, August 22.

Likhachev said the possibility of Grossi travelling to Russia had not been removed from the agenda, adding that he believed the IAEA chief was also interested in making the visit.

No date or further details about a possible trip were provided.
