Russia appoints new head of presidential administration

Russian President Vladimir Putin has appointed a new head of the presidential administration.
Alexander Matveev has been appointed to the post, replacing Andrei Kazakov, who had reportedly held the position since November 2020, Russian state media reports.
“By decree of the President of the Russian Federation, Alexander Anatolyevich Matveev is appointed Head of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation,” the document stated.
