Russia appoints Rinat Anderzhanov new consul general in Kazakhstan
Russia has appointed Rinat Anderzhanov as consul general in Aktau, Kazakhstan, the Russian Foreign Ministry has stated.
In a post on Telegram, it said Anderzhanov was born in 1971, and in 1993, he graduated from the Finance Academy under the Government of Russia, Caliber.Az reports.
“By order of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Anderzhanov Rinat Abdulakhatovich has been appointed Consul General of the Russian Federation in Aktau, Republic of Kazakhstan,” the post noted.
According to the statement, he entered the diplomatic service in 1997 and has since held various positions.
From 2019 to 2026, the diplomat served as adviser and senior adviser in the Third CIS Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
In 2023, he was awarded the diplomatic rank of First Class Adviser.
