Russia, Azerbaijan discuss economic cooperation at St. Petersburg forum
A Russia-Azerbaijan business dialogue is being held on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), bringing together government officials and business leaders from both countries to discuss prospects for expanding economic cooperation.
Participants are examining growth opportunities and development prospects across various sectors of bilateral economic cooperation, as well as measures being implemented by the governments of Russia and Azerbaijan to enhance trade and economic ties, Caliber.Az reports, citing Russian media.
The session is moderated by Stanislav Alexandrov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Association of Lawyers of Russia and a member of the Russian Government Commission for Compatriots Abroad.
Speakers include Emin Agalarov, President of Agalarov Development and Chairman of the Azerbaijan-Russia Business Council; Kirill Lipa, CEO of Transmashholding; Azerbaijani Deputy Prime Minister Shahin Mustafayev; Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexey Overchuk; Gulnara Ragimova-Deniz, Vice President and Adviser to the President-Chairman of VTB Bank's Management Board and President of the Caspian Business Initiative; and Alexey Repik, Chairman of Business Russia.
