Russia, Belarus strengthen defence cooperation amid NATO presence

The development of military cooperation between Russia and Belarus is especially important amid NATO’s active presence near their borders, Russian Defence Minister Andrei Belousov has said.

Belousov made the remarks as he held talks with Belarusian Defence Minister Lieutenant General Viktor Khrenin, Caliber.Az reprts, citing Russian media.

“We continue to actively develop military and military-technical cooperation. This is especially important in the conditions of continuous NATO activity near the borders of our states,” Belousov noted.
