Russia urges halt to US-Israeli aggression against Iran

Russia is urging an end to US and Israeli aggression against Iran, which is affecting countries in the Persian Gulf, according to the Russian Foreign Ministry.

On April 1, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Georgy Borisenko held a phone conversation with Saudi Arabia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Walid bin Abdul Karim Al-Khuraiji, with the focus on the situation in the Persian Gulf, Caliber.Az reports via TASS.

“The Russian side emphasised that ending the ongoing conflict, which is harming completely uninvolved Arab states in the Gulf and threatening navigation, requires the immediate cessation of unprovoked US and Israeli aggression against Iran.

It was agreed to continue close cooperation between Russia and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the interest of resolving the situation,” the ministry noted.
