Russia claims air defences destroyed 651 Ukrainian drones in one day

Russia’s air defence systems destroyed 651 Ukrainian fixed-wing drones and five guided aerial bombs over the past 24 hours, the Russian Defence Ministry has stated.

It did not provide additional details regarding the locations of the interceptions or possible damage caused by the attacks, Caliber.Az reports, citing Russian media.

Last week, the Ukrainian Armed Forces carried out their largest drone attack on Moscow and the surrounding region.

The strikes reportedly targeted residential and densely populated areas, resulting in civilian casualties and injuries.
