Russia hits Ukraine energy, defence sites in overnight strike

Russia’s Ministry of Defence said its armed forces carried out a large-scale overnight strike targeting Ukraine’s energy infrastructure and defence industry facilities, using high-precision ground-based weapons and unmanned aerial vehicles.

According to the ministry, the attack was aimed at energy infrastructure facilities allegedly used in the interests of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as enterprises belonging to the country’s military-industrial complex, Caliber.Az reports.

The ministry noted that all designated targets had been hit and that the strike had achieved its planned effect.
