Russia claims to have shot down 39 Ukrainian drones overnight

Russian air defence systems intercepted and destroyed 39 Ukrainian drones overnight, the Russian Ministry of Defence reported on July 24.

According to the ministry, the bulk of the unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) — 21 in total — were shot down over the Black Sea. An additional 11 drones were intercepted over the Sea of Azov, and seven more were downed over the Krasnodar Region in southern Russia.

The report, cited by Caliber.Az, did not specify whether the drone attacks caused any damage or casualties on the ground.
