01 May 2024 11:12
Around 643 Tajik citizens have been deported from Russia’s Vnukovo Airport within four days.
"Some 643 Tajik citizens out of 3,101 who arrived at Vnukovo airport after being held for several days in inhumane conditions by the Russian authorities were deported from April 26 to 30 [at 20:00 GMT+3]," the Tajik Foreign Ministry said, Caliber.Az reports citing Oreanda-news.
A decision has been made to deport 117 more Tajik citizens.
"Currently, these citizens are also being held in inhumane conditions in the temporary detention centres of Vnukovo Airport and are waiting for departure. A similar situation is also observed at Sheremetyevo, Zhukovsky and Domodedovo airports,” the message says.
