13 August 2026 20:02
A court in Russia’s Moscow Region has remanded a man in custody for two months in a terrorism financing case over sending a paid reaction to a Telegram channel operated by the Russian Volunteer Corps (RVC), the court’s press service has said.
It noted that, according to the prosecution, the man, who allegedly supported the RVC, was in Orekhovo-Zuyevo when he transferred money to the channel’s owner by “sending paid reactions,” Caliber.Az reports, citing Russian media.
He was charged with financing terrorism.
The court ordered him to remain in custody for two months, until October 10, 2026, inclusive.
