Russia downs 36 Ukrainian drones overnight, ministry says

Russia’s Defence Ministry has said its air-defence forces shot down 36 Ukrainian drones overnight between 23:00 Moscow time on November 16 and 07:00 on November 17.

In a statement, the ministry said the drones were intercepted across multiple regions. Fourteen were brought down over the Bryansk region, eight over Tambov, five over Ulyanovsk and four over Voronezh, Caliber.Az reports. 

The ministry stated that three more were intercepted over Oryol, while one drone was reportedly downed in each of the Nizhny Novgorod and Tula regions.

The ministry did not provide information on damage or casualties.
