Russia experiences significant rise in terrorist crimes

Crimes that are instigated by a terrorist agenda or that have been committed by terrorist organisations have increased by 60% in 2025 across the Russian Federation.

The rise represents a significant increase from 2024, according to the Chairman of the Russian Investigative Committee Aleksandr Bastrykin, Caliber.Az reports citing Russian media.

The head of the investigative organs further revealed, that the number of cases where teenagers are being considered as suspects has risen 2.5 times.
