Russia imposes sanctions on 36 Britons

The Russian Foreign Ministry has said that it had put 36 British citizens, including members of the cabinet, security services and journalist corps, on a stop list.

These sanctions come to the fore as the British government pursues "anti-Russian policy", the ministry said on its website.

"It has been decided to additionally include several cabinet ministers, representatives of security agencies and the United Kingdom's journalistic corps [36 people in total] in the Russian ‘stop list’," the report said.
