Russia intercepts 43 Ukrainian drones over two-hour window

Russia’s air defence systems shot down 43 Ukrainian drones over a two-hour period, the country’s Defence Ministry announced.

“Between 07:00 and 09:00 Moscow time, on-duty air defence systems intercepted and destroyed 43 Ukrainian fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles over the territories of the Bryansk, Kursk, Kaluga, Smolensk, Tula, and Volgograd regions, as well as the Voronezh region, the Republic of Adygea, and the Moscow region,” the ministry said.
